Project

Making everyday transit card management easier to navigate

Impact

I reimagined a fragmented public ticketing flow as a mobile-first concept for checking balances, adding credits, managing cards, and reviewing transit activity.

The problem

The legacy flow relied on dense screens, long instructions, and disconnected payment steps — making simple transit tasks feel administrative and hard to scan.

What changed

  • Balance and active card status surfaced first

  • Top-ups simplified into a clearer flow

  • Cards, payments, and activity grouped into familiar mobile patterns

  • Dense tables replaced with focused cards and timelines

Design focus

Clarity over clutter
Essential information appears before secondary settings.

Quick top-ups
Users can move from balance to recharge without navigating long forms.

Scannable activity
Credits and rides are easier to distinguish at a glance.

Outcome

A clearer mobile concept for managing transit cards, credits, and recent activity.

Note

Independent concept redesign based on the publicly available URBS legacy experience. Not an official URBS project.
